Yna Billanes is a Senior Financial Analyst for Grand Challenges Canada and provides accounting, budget and financial reporting support for Grand Challenges Canada’s financial system. She also conducts spot-check audits on funding recipients to ensure their financial reporting adheres to Grand Challenges Canada’s funding requirements.

Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Yna was a staff accountant in the audit practice at KPMG, with emphasis in the not-for-profit and public sector industries. Yna graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, and has obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
