Suad Ali is a Program Associate on the Global Health Innovation team. In her role, she provides techno-managerial support to Grand Challenges Canada’s Global Mental Health portfolio, which focuses on improving the mental well-being of young people in low- and middle-income countries.
Suad holds a Master of Science in Global Health, specializing in Global Health management from McMaster University. Suad joined GCC in 2020 in the STARS in Global Health program, where she supported dozens of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) seed projects and innovators. Outside of Grand Challenges Canada, Suad is a Research Fellow for Women’s Brain Health Initiative and York University where she specializes in dementia prevention and awareness through mHealth and virtual reality interventions. Additionally, she is a group fitness instructor who enjoys empowering others through physical activity.
