Ravinder is Portfolio Manager, Global Mental Health at Grand Challenges Canada. In this role, she is involved in all stages of the deal process, from sourcing and screening pipeline to negotiations and management post-investment, seeking to support the most promising innovations with potential for scale and impact.
Prior to her current role, Ravinder was working with World Health Organization (WHO), to develop and test digital solutions to improves lives of mothers, newborns, and children in India. With more than a decade of experience working with UN organizations, INGO and Ministry of Health, Ravinder brings exceptional expertise in the field of global health and innovation. One of Ravinder’s notable accomplishments includes her impressive portfolio of contributing to more than 28 policy guidelines on health and nutrition in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). She has demonstrated exceptional management skills by successfully overseeing and implementing complex health and nutrition programs, yielding significant outcomes.
Ravinder holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from India. Her areas of interest are health system strengthening, implementation of sustainable innovations, and formulation of evidence-informed policies/programs. Currently based in Canada, Ravinder holds a deep passion for addressing health challenges in LMICs.
