Pulkit Aggrwal is a Portfolio Manager on Grand Challenges Canada’s Global Health Innovation team. In this role he focuses on conducting due diligence on investments, negotiating funding agreements, and supporting innovators in low resource settings.
Pulkit has worked in management consulting, health, and social impact. He has international experience, working across academic institutes, international and non-governmental organizations, in Canada, US, the Netherlands, Switzerland and India. Most recently, he was working as a consultant with Salient Advisory, a global health consulting firm, at the intersection of healthcare, business, and technology. Previously, he has worked as a Program Manager and Chief of Staff at India Health Fund, a venture philanthropy fund in India, focusing on innovations in infectious diseases. He also has prior experience working as a manager at a hospital and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
He has a Master’s in law and diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, in the US, and a Bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical communication engineering from Punjab Engineering College in India. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, being a sous-chef, and volunteering for local community organizations.
