Mohini is a thought partner to the CEO and the leadership team on corporate strategy.
She has over a decade of experience leading nonprofits across Africa, India and Latin America on their digital transformation journey for better delivery for community health, agriculture and financial inclusion services. She returned to Toronto in 2020 after a decade of living abroad in Guatemala, India and Senegal.
Prior to GCC, Mohini was the Global Head of Digital Health Partnerships at Living Goods, a Skoll-recognized NGO that achieves life-saving impact through digitally enabled community health worker programs. At LG, Mohini supported technology partners with Open-Source technology providers, shaped digital health investment opportunities with donors like The Global Fund and Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.
Previously, she held multiple leadership roles at Dimagi, a B-corp that has successfully scaled an open-source digital health platform to over 90 low- and middle-income countries. At Dimagi, Mohini led its USAID DIV I and II programs for mHealth innovation in India, grew its footprint in Francophone countries in West and Central Africa and established numerous government partnerships across Africa directly and in coordination with multilateral funding mechanisms.
Mohini holds a B.Sc from McMaster University in Biochemistry and an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management, where she specialized in the Global Healthcare Life Sciences program. In her spare time, Mohini serves as a board member of fast-growing social enterprises and as a Member of the Editorial Board of the Oxford Open Digital Journal. She loves to cook, cycle and is a certified Rescue Diver. Mohini lives in Toronto with her husband.
