Lynne Chiu is the Executive Assistant to CEO, Karlee Silver and COO, Akin Alaga. She also supports Grand Challenges Canada’s Program Advisory Committee (PAC).
Lynne has over fifteen years of experience providing executive support to senior leaders of organizations across various industries, including the public and not-for-profit sectors, real estate, insurance, and technology. Lynne has a background in Corporate Resources, where she spent almost nine years improving processes and onboarding experiences.
She received her HR Assistant Certificate from HRPAO and an Extraordinary Administrative Support certificate from Schulich Executive Education Centre.
Lynne has a passion for learning and for helping individuals and organizations succeed. In recent years, she has pursued various courses to supplement her skills at work and in the community. She’s also an avid traveller, dog lover, and runner.
Lynne has her Teaching English as a Foreign Language Master Course certificate, and she’s working to improve her language skills in French, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, and Swedish.
