Emmanuel Michael is a Senior Financial Analyst – Compliance for Grand Challenges Canada. His primary task is to ensure that innovators are adhering to the requirements of Grand Challenges Canada’s funding by conducting compliance audits and assessments.
His experience cuts across financial and social impact fields. At PwC, he worked on various international donor-supported projects including those funded by the World Bank, the Global Sanitation Funds (GSF), and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). He also coordinated a number of UNICEF projects and led the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) HACT spot checks and micro assessment projects for several years.
He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and obtained an MBA from University Canada West. He’s a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and currently pursuing his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
