Aoife Allen is the Peer Review Coordinator at Grand Challenges Canada. Aoife ensures efficient, high-quality coordination of the application in-take and review process, including the innovation screen and the external peer review. She supports the engagement of the external experts and works closely with the Programs Team Leads.

Before joining Grand Challenges Canada, Aoife worked at Capstone Infrastructure as and Executive Assistant. Prior to moving to Canada she work for EirGrid, Ireland’s National Electricity Grid for 10 years as an Executive Assistant to the Director of Operations and the Events coordinator, managing high profile visitors like Nancy Pelosi and the King of Lesotho.

Aoife graduated from Dublin Business School with a BA Honors degree in Marketing and Event Management.
