Anil Pathela is Senior Director, Finance at Grand Challenges Canada. Based in Toronto, Anil works as part of the management team to deliver on Grand Challenges Canada’s mandate, mission and priorities.

Anil is a passionate member of the community that continues to volunteer his time to many charitable organizations including the United Way, Junior Achievements Canada, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Anil is a seasoned financial services executive who has worked for over 20 years with multi-national organizations and start-ups in Canada, the USA, and India. In addition to holding a Canadian CPA, CA designation, Anil also has a US CPA designation from the University of Illinois and has also an MBA from National University in California. In his spare time, Anil enjoys playing golf and bicycling in the Summer, and loves to travel overseas during the winter with his family.
