Andre Lewis is the Director, Digital Transformation and Information Security at Grand Challenges Canada. He is responsible for the planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of all system hardware and software and related infrastructure, including end-user systems and devices such as Laptops, Desktop computers, Smart Phones, and Servers, etc. In addition, he spearheads technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within Grand Challenges Canada’s technology and business infrastructure. Andre is also responsible for the security, management, and maintenance of GCC’s critical business applications.
Andre has over sixteen years of experience in the information technology industry – from providing IT support to end users to managing IT Operations and maintaining network infrastructures. Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Andre was a Systems Administrator at Canpar Transport, where he was responsible for managing and maintaining their network infrastructure.
Andre has a degree in Information Technology Management from York University, a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto, and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator.
