Medical oxygen is important for all procedures involving anaesthetic, and in the treatment of various conditions, such as shock, trauma, cardiac arrest and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, but is in short supply in Ethiopia. Assist International is packaging several solutions to create access to medical oxygen, including a distribution model, access to supplies and accessories, clinical testing, technical training, and monitoring and evaluation to measure the impact of an increased medical oxygen supply in Ethiopia.
