Adiam Abraham is a Program Associate for the Humanitarian Grand Challenge Portfolio at Grand Challenges Canada. In this role, she supports seed innovators through the negotiation process and throughout the duration of their projects.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Adiam worked at various non-profit organizations and the Canadian government. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she studied Political Science and African Studies. She also completed a post-graduate certificate in Project Management at the University of Toronto.
Adiam is very passionate about global human rights, and more specifically, children’s rights. During her undergraduate career, she worked alongside local organizations to conduct research on the causes and effects of child labour and youth unemployment in Cameroon. She hopes to live in a world where children can enjoy their childhood, carefree.
