Every two minutes, a woman dies from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. This means that by the time you reach the end of this blog post, four women have died giving birth. Additionally, for every woman who dies in childbirth, around 20 more suffer injury, infection or disease – approximately 10 million women each year. Global Mental Health announces first cohort of youth mental health seed funding projects

September 25, 2018, New York, USA – Today, the Administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Honorable Mark Green, and the Secretary of State for the Department for International Development (DFID) of the United Kingdom, The Right Honourable Penny Mordaunt, M.P., announced 23 intended finalists for Creating Hope in Conflict: A Humanitarian…from 86 countries – 48 percent of which came from lower-middle-income countries. Embracing innovation to treat and reintegrate Obstetric Fistula patients in Uganda
